RVPT at Freckleton have recently received a donation of assorted tools. They were donated by Malcolm Campbell the son of fitter William Campbell who was employed at Ribble's Kendal Depot from 1934 to 1984.
Amongst the tools are a couple of interesting things bearing the initials 'LNWR', (London North Western Railway). Ray, our Chairman and a most knowledgeable railway enthusiast, advises that the LNWR ceased to be in 1922.
Attached are a few photos of the items - Any ideas what they would have been used for ???
