Tuesday 7th June saw further vehicle movements at Freckleton in order to make space for buses returning from store elsewhere. PD2 1455 and the Weardale Leopard were moved to storage spaces outside. Whilst the latter had to be manoeuvred by fork lift truck and manpower, it proved possible to push start 1455 so that she was driven to her new spot.[attachment=1513][attachment=1516][attachment=1517]
The opportunity for a slice of humour was not missed.[attachment=1514]
The temporary creation of space inside gave the chance to take a view of PD2 1467, now near naked as virtually all the panelling has been removed as part of its overhaul. [attachment=1515]
In contrast, the repanelling of Tiger 900 is well underway with the roof now complete.[attachment=1518]
